Hello, actually Miele is releasing new upright in US market. We saw it at the Convention this year, should be on the market in October this year. It looks great! We’ll be sure to release a video as soon as it comes out to share with you guys.

I’ve had my SEBO X1 here in the Uk since nov 96 and it’s still going strong, never had a single problem with it. I can’t recommend these cleaners enough!!!

best vacuum i have ever seen and also really expensive, but cant complain on the price with the quality it has.
I agree that the Sebo is one of the best vacuums I’ve ever used, we have 5 at our hotel and they are working a full 8 hours a day 365 x 7 years now that’s very good track record over all, how ever the inner platic body is starting to crack up a bit but hey commercial use 8 hours a day x 7 days x 365 x 7 years can I say more, it should last the average consumer household and easy 15 years if not more.

It is the best vacuum i have seen!
In Europe, the X4 is blue and yellow and the X1.1 is the white and grey version. Sebo are fantastic! How do the Sebo canister vacuums compare with the Miele canisters?

I’d rate this 8 out of 10 only, the problems I’ve noticed are:
(i) The foot pedal came off on first day of use
(ii) I’m getting static shocks from the handle, presumably cause it’s partly metal.
(iii) It’s risky to lift it by the handle since it’s not screwed in to the body
But as a hoover it works very well and puts out clean air.
I’ve had a SEBO X5 for three years and it’s the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. Really versatile. It’s so slim I store it under the bed.
A reviewer on “dooyoo”, a British review site, says you can cancel the vacuum and use the Sebo X series rotor brushes with the Duo-P powder. Does anyone know how to do this? . .
Great question! In order to use the Sebo upright as a dry carpet cleaner, all you need to do is remove the attachment hose from the top of the vacuum cleaner, so that you are not using any suction power. Without the suction the Sebo’s brushes will beat the Duo-P powder down into the carpet without sucking it up into the bag.

You prefer a pretty crappy vacuum. The Sebo shown here isn’t any better, but Dysons are really low on the performance vac spectrum, and all bagless vacs should be destroyed anyway. Check out some Simplicity models or Miele models.

im thinking of the getting the sebo x4 extra, how many air watts are they?when u clean the car and block the suction will it shut down and does the floor adjuster have a low setting to do carpets faster?
