How Do You Interpret The Vacuum Hose Diagram For A 1987 Ford Ranger?

i am working on my truck and just need to run the vacuum hoses. i have a vacuum house routing diagram but i dont understand it. i also have the manual for the truck but it dosent help me at all. i am not sure how to interpret the diagram to actually run the hoses, I do not understand the abbreviations used on the diagram, therefore, running the hoses is a bit confusing. the only thing i can depict is the carburator. thanks for any help!

    Visit a junk yard in your area and find a similar truck to compare the hose routing on. Take notes and photographs while your there. Alternately, ask someone if you can take photos of their truck engine etc.

    A 1987 ranger did not have a carb, Thought they were all fuel injected. Most of the vacuum lines only reach so far. If we knew the abbreviations you had we could help answer some of where the line goes.
