I have a sealed 6″ cube (air, not liquid) and I need to reduce pressure to 1 Torr. Does anyone have suggestions for specific vacuum pumps or recommendations on where I can find this info? Thanks.

Vacuum bags can prove difficult because there are so many different varieties. Garbage bags come in a few sizes and can fit every trash can. If only vacuum bags worked in the same way! It can be difficult to find the right vacuum bag for your particular model. I remember my wife hunting around for the right bag all over the city.
This was entirely unnecessary, though we didn’t know it at the time. It’s much easier to get vacuum bags online where you can hunt around for the best price. You can then buy the bags in bulk or just bookmark the website and return when you are about to run out of new vacuum bags. As some models are retired and are no longer produced, it’s a good idea to stock up on your vacuum cleaner bags.
The vacuum is running fine but I don’t know if this will cause a problem later. Can I continue to vacuum?

Trying to clean out the dust from a vacuum can get messy. If you knock the canister against the side of a trash can, an ugly cloud of dust can erupt from the canister.
Even if you do this outside, it can get pretty messy. A vacuum cleaner bag, on the other hand, is self-contained (which is why vacuum bags don’t seem to be going away anytime soon). There are other dust containment methods such as filters containing water, but these can require much more money than many people are willing to spend.
I need to rent a vacuum today before company comes for the weekend. Our vacuum broke (doesn’t even turn on) a few weeks ago & we’re still waiting for the replacement parts to come.
Please tell me some stores where I could rent a vacuum. Mostly it will be for cleaning up after the dogs & all their chewed stuff.
Thanks!
Also, maybe for future reference, can you rent special kinds of vacuums that clean like the professionals use, for when regular vacuuming just isn’t enough?
